The Ayurved is not only medical science but is science of life. Its importance is ever growing even in the modern times. Research in the field of medicine is in progress on large scale in the modern world. With this view the research department is established in 1994. This department makes necessary research in Ayurved to prove the utility of this science even in these modern days. A research laboratory is developed in name of Late Appa Shastri Sathye which is well furnished with essential equipments. A research work has been geared up to bring out new Aurvedic Patent medicines in the market for the cure of minor ailments. It is decided to raise research fund to creating research attitude among students and to encouraging them to take up research projects, department is planning to start different Research fellowships.
